Playing Professional Labs

Following the new version of the Parrot CTFs platform, we are releasing guides to help you navigate the new interface. Whether you're a new player or a veteran, this guide will provide you with useful tips and guidance on how to tackle Machines in the updated platform design.

In order to play a lab machine, you will need to choose a lab. We categorize our labs by User Rating, Star Rating, Difficulty, and Category. You can also search labs by name or category you are looking for.

This is the lab machine entry point. You can see the machine control settings, as well as information about the machine, and questions you submit after completing the lab machines.

You will also need to be connected to the Professional Labs VPN. 

In your lab machines control panel, you will see the entry point to the lab, you will have an IP address to start your lab on.

These lab machines only contain a single host to compromise, and you will not need to know or understand pivoting to start doing these lab machines. 

All Parrot CTFs machines, have questions attached to them to serve as proof you have completed the lab. User flags are found in the Desktop or Home Directory of compromised devices or the "end goal compromise". 

Things are bound to break at some point. Not to worry you can fix a lot of lab machine issues by resetting the lab. 

You can usually reset on the same page you started the lab machine on, in the case where you are still having issues you can use the support chat to reach out to our team members and we will reset the lab manually again.
